The Point to Pointers are a mixture of older form horses and a selection of young and un-raced horses that are bought as investments to run and sell. We have a core of stable stars that keep reappearing each season and the young ones are constantly changing – this is what keeps the yard vibrant and exciting.

The absolute pinacle of Phil and Alex’s partnership has to be in 2018, when they were Champion Trainer and Jockey!

Since then, the climate has somewhat changed and we now move forwards in a slightly different way.

We will never again see the numbers of pointing horses we can have to match that season. Sourcing horses at competitive prices just isn’t like it was. However, we are regularly looking for young horses, with our focus on quality over quantity! Our main aim now is to purchase and bring on English pointers who will then go on to run under rules with the ‘wow’ factor.

Ahoy Señor and Lilleth are perfect examples of this formula to name just two.
